macOS treats "tell me when a key moves" as the same permission as "read what was typed", so there is no narrower option to ask for. Clickk reads the key position, plays a sample, and discards it. Nothing is written to disk and nothing leaves your Mac.

No. There is no logging, no file of keystrokes, no network code for telemetry, and no analytics SDK of any kind. The app works exactly the same with the network turned off.

Turn off Wi-Fi and use it, or watch it in Little Snitch or LuLu. Clickk makes no outbound connections at all. Software Update checks are handled by the App Store, not by the app.

No. Samples are decoded once into memory and played through the system audio engine, so a keystroke costs almost nothing. Between keystrokes the app does no work at all.

Drag Clickk from your Applications folder to the Trash, then remove it from System Settings, Privacy and Security, Accessibility. Your preferences live in a single plist that goes with it.
